Changes to my study programme

Hello everyone! See you again. I understand that my study program, being a new plan, has been filled with irregularities and setbacks from the beginning. However, overall, my learning in the degree has been fruitful.  Despite this, during the fifth semester, we faced a significant load of assessments, especially in assignments. This happened because the subjects of remote sensing and hydrology were taught simultaneously, unlike previous years. Unfortunately, this resulted in an overload of schedules, and a modification is necessary in the curriculum for subsequent years. I consider that the duration of the degree is suitable for achieving a good preparation of professionals in renewable natural resources engineering. However, I believe that the first two years of the program focus too much on mathematics and statistics. Time Travel to...

  Hi see you again... I would like to travel to the past in my case because I am more interested in knowing what has already happened in history and prehistory. I want to see how and when society as we know it today was formed, its main milestones, and important individuals who have left their mark on history. Above all, I want to explore the biodiversity that has existed on Earth. I want to understand how life began on the planet, how it evolved, and observe the different species that have existed and how they have made it to the present day. My ideal time to visit would be the Ice Age, as the species from that era seem spectacular and awe-inspiring to me, especially the saber-toothed cats and the cave lion. Additionally, marine species that exist today were also present during that time, some of which are now extinct, making it very interesting to learn about them. My Dream Job

 Hello Everyone!! Here together again Right now, my dream job is work in the protection, conservation and inspection of the Chilean marine protected areas. I imagine myself in this job, monitoring the entire length and breadth of the Chilean coastline, supervising compliance with regulations on marine protected areas, protect and conserve the native marine species and teach these cares to the citizens. Also, to continuously improve the standards based on scientific and local knowledge.  I will need knowledge of marine biology, oceanography, public policy, environmental legislation, scientific dissemination and among other skills. In this job, I expect a salary greater than $1.000.000 at least (if it´s much better he he :D). For this my actual program, renewable natural resources engineering, is suitable for this job, because it has subjects that develop the necessary skills (hydrology, environmental legislation, ecology, environmental management, etc.). My best holidays

 Hi everyone! The best holidays ever for me it was in 2020, because I go to the Punta Arenas with my family; my parents, my two brothers, my to cousins, my uncle and aunt; for two weeks and it was amazing :D. We went to "Fuerte Bulnes" a place that was built to protect the Chilean territory and with a incredible infrastructure, it was a nice walk. We also went to the "Zona Franca", a place with many stores and lower than normal prices, it had international product, especially Argentine like "dulce de leche", it is very tasty hehe. But the best activity was climbed on the "Torres del Paine", with amazing and beautiful landscapes and a hiking excellent for the exercise :D. I have never known a more beautiful place than this. Since 2020, I go to "Torres del Paine" every year and I´ve done different hiking and trekking (a of eight hours, it´s very difficult, however the landscapes are indescribable, better than in photographs). Egypt: a look into the ancient era

 Egypt: a look into the ancient era Hi, we meet one more semester :D. In this blog I will tell you about Egypt, a country I would like to visit, because is a place with a lot of history like the pyramid of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and the only one preserved to this day. Egypt as a civilization is over 7000 years old, with bigs constructions like the pyramids, the Great Sphinx and the Library of Alexandria (one of the biggest book collections in history, but it was destroyed :C). Egyptian Civilization was around the Nile River and it was divided into lower and upper Egypt. I really like visit pyramid of Giza, know Memphis city, go to the place where the Library of Alexandria was and tour its museums to learn all about its history in detail, and of course, its typical food (hehe :D). However, I only visit of vacations, because I´m not interested in living in Egypt. I would just like to know its culture and history. I hope to see you again.

Website that I enjoy visiting

 Hi! We see again... In this blog, I will tell you about a website that I visit. This is the "International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)" website, is a organization with the objectives of influencing, encouraging and assisting societies around the world to conserve the integrity and biodiversity of nature and to ensure that all use of natural resources is equitable and ecologically sustainable. Its website reports the main advances and challenges that currently exist in nature conservation and that is to be achieved in the future. I usually visit this website, for University jobs, because my program is closely related to nature, its care and that of its biodiversity. I like this site, because it presents in a simple way the projects for the conservation of the environment from the international guidelines and of each country.  I recommend this site, because it shows actions to care for nature, flora and fauna, the regulations to follow for these and much more. ...

A meal that is really very tasty

 The Pizza is an Italian typical food, it's made by: flour for the dough, cheese, tomatoes, olives, some kind of meat, and many more ingredients. Pizza is prepared with flour, water and yeast. Then you roll out the dough in circle shape. Later add cheese, tomato sauce and ingredients of your choice (don't put pineapple on it please). Finally, bake on high heat for approximately fifteen to twenty minutes and enjoy Pizza (it's very easy). This meal is very tasty for me, because it has ingredients like pepperoni (my favorite :D) and you can eat this meal with friends or family. While we eat, we talk and we laugh about any topic. This moments are very good. However it's bad for health eat Pizza frequently, because many of its ingredients have a lot of calories and grease, so we must careful with this type of food. Pizza is very tasty, but it's best to enjoy on special occasions. We must stay healthy :D.
